Kefalotyri

A hard salty cheese made from sheep milk and/or goat milk and manufactured in Greece.

Kefalotyri can be eaten cold, fried and used for saganaki, or grated on pasta, meat and vegetable dishes. It is typically light yellow in colour but this can vary depending on the brand and how many months it has been aged to give it a stronger taste.
